Our Mission
To preserve, promote, and globalize Chidaoba – Georgian wrestling – as both a traditional sport and an internationally recognized cultural treasure, with the long-term goal of Olympic inclusion.
Year 1 (2025) – Foundation & Structuring

Finalize and register international branches and national partners in key countries (France, USA, Japan, Italy, Greece)

Launch official IFGW website and digital archive with historical materials, photos, and UNESCO documentation

Publish foundational documents in multiple languages (constitution, bylaws, development plan)

Host international press conference in Tbilisi

Begin Olympic recognition feasibility study with legal and sports governance advisors
Year 2 (2026) – Education & Training

Develop and publish international training curriculum for Chidaoba (youth, amateur, professional levels)

Certify first cohort of international Chidaoba coaches and referees

Launch online training platform with multilingual video content

Begin educational partnerships with universities and sports academies

Organize first international Chidaoba seminar week in Georgia
Year 3 (2027) – Cultural Diplomacy & Expansion

Host "Chidaoba World Cultural Festival" in Tbilisi with participation from UNESCO, embassies, and partner nations

Establish official Chidaoba Academies in 5 countries under IFGW standards

Begin diplomatic outreach for inclusion in international cultural & sports calendars

Open first permanent IFGW cultural and training center in Shilda (Kakheti region)
Year 4 (2028) – Institutional Consolidation & Global Tournaments

Launch the "IFGW World Tour": Chidaoba exhibitions in 10 major cities (New York, Paris, Tokyo, etc.)

Submit official pre-application for inclusion in Olympic recognition process (via GAISF/IOC)

Host the 1st IFGW International Championship in Georgia

Develop official IFGW referee handbook and Olympic-style competition rules (without compromising cultural elements)
Year 5 (2029) – Youth & Community Development

Launch global youth development program "Wrestling Roots"
